LEGAL UPDATES – OCTOBER 2023 – NEW GUIDANCE ABOUT LAW ON INSURANCE

On 1 July 2023, the Government officially released Decree No. 46/2023/ND-CP, which puts into action certain aspects of the Law on Insurance Business in 2021. This Decree lays out the specific requirements and processes for granting licenses to businesses involved in insurance activities. It also covers the rules for insurance agents, brokers, auxiliary service providers, and cross-border insurance services.
