LEGAL UPDATES – OCTOBER 2023 – VIETNAM TO STRENGTHEN THE PROTECTION OF CONSUMERS’ RIGHT

The National Assembly of Vietnam passed the new Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights in June 2023, taking effect from 1 July 2024.  This new Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights, in addition to inheriting several contents, amends and supplements regulations to address the shortcomings under the existing regulations to keep up with modern consumption practices, especially in the rapid growth of e-commerce.  Please check out the Legal Updates of RHTLaw Vietnam here to catch up with the new regulations.
